Fong & Chan Architects (FCA) is an award-winning design firm in San Francisco. We are seeking a full time, on-site Project Manager with HCAI experience to join our team.

• Manage, organize and direct tasks throughout the life of a project from inception to successful delivery to the client
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project
• Develop project scopes of work, schedules, and work plans
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate with clients
• Actively manage project budgets, schedules, communications, documentation and team assignments
• Lead project coordination and owner/site meetings
• Handle the permit review process with the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction)
• Provide oversight and monitor the work of the team
• Ensure accuracy of work and compliance with building codes and regulations

• 8 – 10 years of overall experience with 2+ years of experience directly managing projects
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required
• Relevant experience in California Health Care projects under HCAI jurisdiction
• Familiarity with local building codes and HCAI requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lead and manage a project from inception through completion of construction
• Ability to manage the coordination, production, and financial aspects of a project
