The facility will integrate radiation oncology, chemotherapy, and diagnostic services to expand access to life-saving treatment, establishing a new standard of care for the Madhesh Province and surrounding communities.

Rooted in place and purpose, the design draws inspiration from the Himalayan landscape, shaping a dynamic architectural identity that balances performance and healing. A series of converging arcades form a sheltered, energy-generating entry powered by integrated solar panels, while patient rooms rise above, offering sweeping views of the countryside. Therapeutic spaces—including a rooftop garden—will support patient well-being, and a base-isolated structural system will ensure resilience in a seismically active region. Delivered as a pro-bono effort, the Binaytara Cancer Hospital is a symbol of equity and progress. It will address long-standing healthcare disparities through a model that combines cutting edge treatment modalities, climate resilience, and cultural responsiveness.
