The Endoscopy Department project at Stanford University Medical Center involved the renovation of an existing space on the ground floor of the hospital into a new Endoscopy Department consisting of four endoscopy procedure rooms, two endoscopy retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP) rooms, manometry and special procedure rooms, and associated support areas. Modern A/V conferencing systems were incorporated in the design to enable the broadcast of live procedures for teaching purposes.
