With a BA in Environmental Design from Tsinghua University and a Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley, Ziyao brings a blend of artistic and technical skills to Fong & Chan Architects. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has contributed to a range of healthcare projects, including hospitals, imaging rooms, pharmacies, skilled nursing facilities, and more. Her background in art, along with her interest in photography and visual design inform her approach to architecture and the spatial experience. Ziyao shares her strengths in 3D modeling and rendering as member of FCA’s design expression group, where she explores new tools and workflows to improve design communication and efficiency. In her free time, Ziyao enjoys traveling, painting, and photography.
